Canute by Thursday is hiring a Program Coordinator (maternity cover) for the Founders Growth Club team
Do you want to help Danish scaleups grow and succeed internationally?
Canute by Thursday is the go-to partner for Danish scaleups in growth mode. We run initiatives that support founders and their companies on the journey towards international expansion. Our work spans five core areas: accelerator partnerships, public funding, raising equity funding, internationalisation strategy - and Founders Growth Club.
Founders Growth Club is a network for scaleup founders, designed to help them grow - personally and professionally. We connect ambitious Danish scaleups with experienced founders who’ve been through the journey themselves. It’s not about theory - it’s about real experience.
We’re now looking for a Senior Associate to step into a project manager role on the FGC team. This is a maternity cover position starting February 1st 2026 and running through September 1st 2026, with the possibility of extension.
The role as a Senior Associate in Canute by Thursday
As Senior Associate, you’ll take on a project management role within the FGC team. You’ll maintain the overview, drive the rhythm, and ensure we meet our promises – across multiple workstreams and stakeholders. That means leading internal and external check-ins, handling reporting, managing budgets, and keeping activities on track.
You’ll also help shape and run the actual things that makes FGC tick: member recruitment, advisor onboarding, corporate partner involvement, and execute activities. You’ll see the full picture - and help everyone else stay aligned.
Your tasks will include:
- Driving the project forward and making sure deadlines are met
- Coordinating across the FGC consortium and internal team
- Leading reporting, allocation and budget follow-ups
- Running internal check-ins and attend external coordination meetings
- Supporting recruitment of new members and Growth Advisors
- Engaging our corporate partners and getting them activated
- Helping execute key FGC activities (matchmaking, roundtables, offsite camps, etc.)
We’re looking for someone who is:
We’re looking for someone who can bring structure into a busy setup, keep people aligned, and make things move. You know how to manage stakeholders, run a process, and follow up without being asked. You’re confident leading the conversation – and not afraid to get your hands dirty along the way.
Skills and experience:
- Is comfortable leading meetings, owning tasks, and following up
- Has worked with clients or senior stakeholders before - and enjoys it
- Is good with Excel, slides, and keeping multiple threads in motion
- Like bringing structure into fast-moving environments
- Has a feel for the startup/scaleup ecosystem (or pick things up fast)
- Fluency in Danish is not required, as most communication within FGC is in English - however, a working understanding of Danish is necessary, as it remains the corporate language within Thursday Consulting
Traits
- Sharp on structure, but not stuck in process
- Reliable, practical, and detail-oriented - but not afraid to move fast
- Comfortable switching between internal ops and external partners
- Good at spotting what's missing - and getting it sorted
- Up for making an impact inside a small, high-tempo team
What you can expect from us:
- A unique opportunity to work in the heart of the scaleup ecosystem and build a strong network
- Real insight into how startup, scaleup and investor environments work in practice
- A dynamic and varied role with lots of room to grow and learn
- A workplace with high ambitions and low ego - where we work hard and have fun
- Close collaboration with founders, investors and ecosystem partners
- Full-time position based in Copenhagen (with flexibility to work from home)
